Gold occurs with copper and silver across multiple Venus-Juno samples, consistent with the gold-copper signature seen elsewhere at the Kena Property.
CALGARY, Alberta – TheNewswire – November 4, 2026 – Upside Gold Corp. (“Upside” or the “Company”) (CSE: UG) (FSE: 47I) (OTCQB: UGODF) is pleased to announce the completion of its 2026 fieldwork program at the Kena Gold-Copper Project (“Kena” or the “Project”) in southeastern British Columbia.
The 2026 surface field season focused on mapping and sampling targets outside the existing Kena resource area*, including the recently acquired Venus-Juno claims. Initial results from Venus-Juno and Gold Mountain West areas point to an enlarged exploration story at Kena, separate from the existing historical resource*, and support the Project’s district-scale potential. Results from the remaining fieldwork, along with outstanding assays, at these and other identified areas, will be reported as they are received and reviewed.

2026 Field Program
The field program ran from June to October 2026 and was designed to advance the Company’s understanding of the broader mineralized system and identify prospective targets for future exploration. Work included:
Geological mapping, evaluation and sampling across surface exposures often spatially associated with identified high gold and copper soil and geophysical anomalies at Venus-Juno, Three Friends, Euphrates, Gold Mountain West, Noman, South Zone and the Kena Copper Zone occurrences.
Locating and sampling historical, occurrences, workings, trenches and dumps on the Venus-Juno claims
A total of 145 rock samples collected, of which 40 have been assayed to date
Venus-Juno
The contiguous Venus-Juno claims (7 claims, 273 ha) were acquired by the Company in 2026 and lie approximately 6 km northwest of the Kena Gold Zone. The area hosts historical workings, including the Juno and Bird’s Eye showings, that had seen little modern exploration
Sampling returned high-grade gold with associated copper and silver from historical dumps, and trenches over and beyond the Juno vein system . These results support further work at Venus-Juno, and the Company plans follow-up mapping and sampling to understand the extent and potential of the mineralization. The results to-date also demonstrate that high-grade gold occurrences in the Silver King Porphyry host rocks continue westward beyond the boundaries of the Kena Gold historic resource*.

Next Steps
Report remaining 2026 field results and outstanding assays as received
Compile all the 2025 and 2026 surface exploration data with the compilation and modeling of historical information to rank targets for follow-up exploration
Plan follow-up mapping, trenching and drilling at the Venus-Juno claims and other areas on the Kena Property for 2027
Continue work toward the updated NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate for Kena, expected in Q1 2027
Sophy Cesar, CEO and Director of Upside Gold, said: “This surface fieldwork season was about looking beyond the existing resource, and Venus-Juno has given us an encouraging first answer. Gold, copper and silver together in these samples support that the mineralized system extends well beyond the zones being drilled to-date. We continue to define additional targets to advance alongside the updating of the known zones with only partial results returned to-date this season.”
Sampling and QA/QC
The collected rock samples were shipped by bonded carrier and submitted to ALS Canada Ltd laboratory in Kamloops, B.C. ALS Canada Ltd. is an independent accredited testing laboratory having been assessed by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) and found to conform to the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for listed services. The Qualified Person inserted blind Au, Ag and Cu accredited analytical standards and quartz blanks with the submitted batch.
Rock samples analyses included gold and 34 multi-element inductively coupled plasma – atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES) analysis by four acid digestion (Au-ICP21, ME-ICP61), following sample weighing, log in, and crushing with screening to -75 microns. ALS completed a standard package of internal laboratory QA/QC, including standards, blanks and duplicates.

About Upside Gold Corp.
Upside Gold Corp. is a Canadian gold-copper exploration company that has entered into an option agreement to acquire a 100% interest in the Kena Gold-Copper Project, located in southeastern British Columbia, approximately 7 kilometres southwest of Nelson. The Kena Project consists of 207 mineral claims and 11 crown grants covering 10,578 hectares.
The Corporation is focused on advancing the Kena Gold-Copper Project through systematic exploration and drilling programs.
*The Kena Project hosts a historical gold resource comprising an Indicated Mineral Resource of 32,146,000 tonnes at an average grade of 0.544 g/t Au for 0.561 million ounces of gold, and an Inferred Mineral Resource of 177,507,000 tonnes at an average grade of 0.486 g/t Au for 2.77 million ounces of gold. The historical resource estimate is disclosed in the technical report entitled “NI 43-101 Resource Estimate for the Kena and Daylight Properties” prepared by Sue Bird, P.Eng. of Moose Mountain Technical Services, dated May 3, 2021, and filed on SEDAR on behalf of West Mining Corp.
A Qualified Person, as defined by National Instrument 43-101, has not done sufficient work to classify the historical estimate as current mineral resources, and Upside Gold Corp. is not treating the historical estimate as current mineral resources. The historical estimate is provided for information purposes only and should not be relied upon. Additional drilling and technical work will be required to verify the historical estimate as a current mineral resource . The historical estimate uses the categories set out in section 1.2 of the NI-43-101. The parameters and assumptions used are outlined in Bird 2021 and are provided as follows:
1. Resources are reported using the 2014 CIM Definition Standards and were estimated using the 2019 CIM Best Practices Guidelines.
2. Mineral Resources that are not Mineral Reserves do not have demonstrated economic viability.
3. The Mineral Resource has been confined by a “reasonable prospects of eventual economic extraction” pit using the following assumptions: US $2,000/oz. Au at a currency exchange rate of 0.77 US$ per $CDN; 99.95% payable Au; $4.30/oz Au offsite costs (refining, transport and insurance); a 3% NSR royalty; and uses an 88% metallurgical recovery for gold.
4. Pit slope angles are assumed at 45º.
5. The specific gravity of the deposit has been assigned as 2.8 based on sg measurements in the Kena deposit.
