The retail giant Costco (NASDAQ: COST ) is scheduled to pay its final quarterly dividend in calendar year 2026 next week, on Friday, November 13.
Specifically, the firm announced it would distribute $1.47 per COST share on the day to investors who owned the equity before October 30 – the ex-dividend date .
Given the setup, one would have to have put $996.08 into Costco stock to receive $1.47, or $99,608 to purchase 100 shares and get $147 on November 13.
Overall, investors who hoped to acquire and hold 100 COST through 2026 and receive all four payments would have paid $85,450 on January 2 and will have received a total of $426.13 late next week.
Here’s when Costco stock might increase its dividend
Notably, next Friday is likely to be the penultimate $1.47 dividend, as the retail giant historically used the May payment to increase the amount. For example, the payment stood at $1.16 in May, August, and November 2024, and February 2025 before being increased to $1.30 starting in May last year.
The current $1.47 dividend was first issued in the second quarter of 2026, and the final such distribution is likely to take place in February 2027.

Notably, Costco stock also performed well in October, proving itself a more lucrative investment than the traditionally excellent big tech, and several prominent blue-chips involved in the artificial intelligence ( AI ) boom suffered severe losses late last month .
Indeed, thanks to the issues faced by the equity of firms like Google (NASDAQ: GOOGL ) and Intel (NASDAQ: INTC ), the S&P 500 is down 1.85% on the monthly chart, and COST shares are up 9.95% in the last 30 days.
