Binance has started bringing crypto withdrawals back online after a temporary halt that followed a $6.3 billion cyberattack. The exchange said withdrawals will return in stages across 15 blockchain networks. The first phase includes Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, XRP and Solana. It also covers USDT and USDC on several networks, plus Zcash, Dogecoin, Sui, GRAM on TON, POL on Polygon, AVAX on Avalanche C-Chain, ARB on Arbitrum, and ETH and USDC on Base. Optimism will support ETH, USDT and USDC. Tron will handle TRX and USDT. The company said deposit services were not affected and kept running as usual.

What users can expect

Binance said the first batch would begin between 09:00 and 12:00 Turkish time. Founder Changpeng Zhao also said Bitcoin withdrawals were active. That fits the exchange’s earlier notice that some networks would open before others. The order is based on user demand from the past week. Each network still has to pass security checks before withdrawals go live. Binance warned that heavy traffic could cause delays or temporary failures in the first hours. Coins and networks not yet open will be added later, once checks are complete.

Recovery and reserves

The exchange also raised its recovery estimate for losses from the attack. It now says 95 percent of affected assets have been covered using company resources, up from 90 percent in an update on October 31. Binance said Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, BNB, Solana, USDC, XRP, USD1, RLUSD and Zcash are backed by 100 percent reserves. The remaining 5 percent is mostly lower-liquidity altcoins. Binance is still buying those assets through market and over-the-counter trades, though the process may take longer because liquidity is thin.

What the 95 percent figure means

This does not mean the stolen coins were recovered from attackers. Binance is covering user account losses with its own reserves. That distinction matters for users who may read the recovery figure as a full return of the missing funds. The exchange has not said all withdrawals are open. It described the restart as partial and gradual, with more networks to follow after checks. For now, users should expect some congestion and should check network status before moving funds. The company also repeated that this is not investment advice.
